Since the beginning of the implementation of multimedia courseware,it develops rapidly and it will soon at classroom. At the same time, it optimizes the education in the classroom.However, nowadays, there are some problems on computer skills training classes of vocational education. First, there are too much intensive skills training but neglect the implementation of knowledge correlative to skills. Second, we lack places for skills training. Third, we lack layered skills training. When we encounter these problems, the purpose of our research is to know how we can make multimedia courseware promote computer skills training effectively.The research is based on multimedia courseware, emotional psychology and constructivism theoretically. It is carried out by many methods: reference method, action study, experimentation, comparison and investigation.We propose the principle of learner-centered in designing and using multimedia courseware. Follow seven principles of multimedia teaching which are motioned in the book,?Multimedia Learning?, and they are based on our research. These principles are: multimedia cognition, near in space and time, uniformity, channel, redundancy and individual differences.According to practical research, we can come to a conclusion that multimedia courseware of promoting computer skills training must possess some characteristics below.1. It has a situation for skills training and can create a rich, relaxing atmosphere of learning.2. Our multimedia courseware should have strong interactivity and evaluation.3. It should have strong guidance in skills and make learning and training synchronous.4. Multimedia courseware should be controlled by students but not control the students. They can choose it freely.
